Continuous Improvement Manager - Large Motors

Will manage all continuous improvement events and initiatives for the Kings Mountain,NC plant . Tasks: Provide leadership and support to attain Continuous Improvement goals. Develop and maintain current and future state value stream maps. Champion the future state road map by planning and executing activities involving cross-functional teams. Apply process data and Customer feedback to drive focused continuous improvement activities. Lead cross-functional project teams comprised of both internal and external partners. Negotiate and influence project teams to ensure appropriate resourcing levels are engaged and maintained throughout the implementation of projects. Proactively anticipate project risks and issues and ensure adequate measures are in place to ensure project scope, schedule and cost is not compromised. Drive continued process refinement and provide leadership to instill a culture of proactive control enhancement and defect elimination. Lead the application and development of group-wide best practices within the entire value chain. Ensure effective change control procedures and processes are efficiently applied. Requirements: BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Associates' degree AND 7 years' experience in a manufacturing environment OR Bachelors' Degree AND 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment A Master's Degree in required field = Credit given for 2 years of work experience. A PhD/Doctorate in required field = Credit given for 3 years of work experience PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors' degree in Engineering or Business 5+ years of experience in an industrial environment . Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. Working knowledge of: change management, value-stream mapping, kaizen, six sigma, KPI's, DOE. Excellent analytical & problem-solving skills. Must be able to simultaneously plan, manage and implement a variety of complex projects while balancing competing and changing priorities. Self-motivated, results driven, strong relationship skills, demonstrated leadership, and ability to take initiative and make decisions independently. Superior interpersonal, spoken and written communication skills. Demonstrated Project Management proficiency. Ability to identify opportunities, develop strategy and implement innovative solutions. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
