Senior EHS Specialist - Manufacturing

Essential Functions Position Summary: Lead, manage and coordinate all aspects of facility goals and objectives in Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) focused on building a culture of safety. Report directly to Division EHS Manager with a strong dotted linereporting relationship to the site Business Unit Manager (BUM) dependent on division size and structure. Scope/Supervision and Interaction: Willreport directly to the Division EHS Manager andwork with the on-site Division staff on a regular basis. In matters of EHS, will be directlyresponsible for successful implementation of EHS programs and procedures. Essential Functions: o Develop and implement programs and procedures to meet facility objectives and targets in EHS. Key focus points include: o Incident Prevention o EHS Regulatory Compliance o Energy management and use reduction o Waste Minimization o Management Systems (asrequired) - Gensuite, Humantech, etc. o Follow up on safety incidents and lead root cause problem solving efforts. o Raise awareness of hazards andrisk mitigation through use of engineering controls. Provide leadership forrisk assessment (EHS Gemba) and Job Safety Analysis (JSA)processes. o Work closely with front line leaders and Division EHS onrisk reduction projects. o Coordinate all EHS training o Support and manage corrective actions from Corporate EHSaudits o Onsite contact for Corporate EHS Department and under direction of Division EHS Manager manage EPA actions such as, but not limited to, NOV's, cleanup and complaints. o Onsite contact for Corporate EHS Department and under direction of Division EHS Manager manage OSHA actions such as, but not limited to,inspections, letters of non-compliance and informal conferences. o Maintain necessary EHS records and direct all applicable EHSreporting requirements in a timely and accurate manner. o Ensure compliance with Corporate EHS Policy and Directives. o Support customer EHS requirements. o Lead EHS-related communications, present materials at employee meetings andreport applicable EHS matters directly to Division EHS Manager and Division Staff leadership. o Lead the Safety Star Point High Performance Team (HPT) for thelocation. o Completerequired EHSreporting and accountable or updating of EHS metrics, including maintenance of Team Improvement Board (TIB). o Attend appropriateinternal EHS conference(s) and participate with any applicable organizations as an EHS representative for the Pump & Motor Division. o Direct the facility's waste management (recycling) program. o Support and integrate EHS in Lean,HR and Supply Chain objectives. o May perform additional duties as assigned to bestsupportthe needs of the business. Qualifications - BS Degree in a technical field, preferably EHS (extensive experience with certificate programs, seminars and CEU's or associates degree possibly acceptable). - A strong working knowledge of EHS regulations. - Experience in a manufacturing environment a must. - Experience in Ergonomics and Behavior Based Safety a plus. - 5+ years of applicable experience. - Can work independently. - Excellent communication and computer skills. - Creative ability in insuring safety of employees, the environment while meeting the needs of production. - Ability to plan and implement EHS programs. - Strong presentation skills. - Ability to work effectively with management as well as associates from the floor. - Must be able to travel and work out of the office.. 11675-1A

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
