Position Summary
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Other duties may be assigned.
Consistently performs electrical & electronic repairs, operates, maintains, troubleshoots, installs, modifies, collects data and modifications on but not limited to all facilities and production related equipment. Able to consistently perform lite mechanical trouble shooting and repairs and heavy electrical & electronic repairs. Job split is 25% mechanical and 75% heavy Electrical & electronic. Consistently demonstrates the ability to perform all required job functions with confidence and complete in a timely manner with minimal or no supervision.
Operates, maintains, troubleshoots, installs, modifies, repairs and collects data on but not limited to electrical / electronic facilities and production related equipment, motors, controls, power circuits. Performs mechanical repairs and modifications on all facilities and production related equipment. Consistently demonstrates the ability to perform all required job functions with confidence and complete in a timely manner with minimal or no supervision.
Equipment includes but is not limited to all production and facility related equipment.
Maintains all facilities and production equipment records to include but not limited to calibrating, aligning, lubricating, inspecting, ordering, researching, etc.
Consistently demonstrates a solid knowledge required for troubleshooting / repairs of all facility & production equipment. This includes but is not limited to the logical diagnosis of problems, identification and replacement of the defective components, the disassembly and reassembly of equipment, startup, operation of all equipment.
Install new and modifies existing systems to include assignments required by engineering, other personnel or system demands.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Must have ability to calculate measurements using tape measures, micrometers, and/or calipers. Must have ability to comply with all safety regulations, work independently, and work effectively and respectfully with team members. Must have strong organizational and time management skills and ability to use Microsoft Word or Excel effectively as data entry skills are required.
Written & verbal communication skills, electrical and electronic systems, power distribution, lighting systems, production equipment control and power circuits, pneumatic systems, personal computer operations, read and interpret electrical / electronic schematic, ladder diagrams, instrumentation, piping diagrams, equipment service and operating manuals. Knowledge of AD/DC motor, circuits drives and controls. Basic understandings of programmable logic controllers, digital and analog controls and relay logic.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple and complex instructions, short correspondence, and memos such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, order sheets, shipping documents, policies, and procedures. Ability to write simple correspondence, routine reports, and complete company documents. Ability to effectively and respectfully communicate information to team members, customers, clients, vendors, and guests.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to understand and comply with policies, procedures, and safety requirements at all times.

Equipment and Tools:
Consistently demonstrated the ability to properly operate a wide variety of hand/power tools and test equipment not limited to voltmeters, infrared, vibration, ultrasonic etc, personal computer and programs, ladders, man lifts, fork trucks and hand trucks.
Safety Requirements:
Must follow prescribed safety procedures for each work area.
Working Conditions:
Heat, cold, weather, dirty, greasy, dusty, low light, dark, confined space, heights, hazardous materials / wastes.
Education /
Experience:
High School Diploma or GED & a minimal of 5 years experience in a related electrical / electronic field.

Minimum 5 years related technical experience in Electrical/Electronics, Electro-Mechanical, or Industrial Maintenance Must have skills including but not limited to written communication, personal computer operation, read and interpret electrical/ electronic schematics, hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams, ladder diagrams, PLC programs, instrumentation and piping diagrams, equipment service and operating manuals. Also must have knowledge of AC/DC motors, circuits, drives and controls as well as Programmable Logic Controllers, digital and analog controls and relay logic.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
