General
Summary:
This position is responsible for Seam welding Shell and TIG troughs.
Principal Duties and
Responsibilities:
Identify work to be performed via MII or SAP work center priority and access unit and assembly drawings.
Grind, finish and clean each completed weld to make aesthetically appealing.
Inspect each weld for defects.
Complete order confirmation via MII or SAP.
Inventory management of raw materials.
Perform daily housekeeping tasks (5S) and preventative maintenance tasks.
Other miscellaneous duties as needed.
Job Specifications:
High School or GED required.
Between 6-12 months of welding experience required.
Standing for a minimum of 8 hours daily.
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds on a regular basis.
Frequent movement - bending, lifting.
Ability to read and understand blueprints.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally.
Work requires strong attention to detail and a high focus on safety and quality.
Ability to use basic hand tools and power tools.
Ability to read measuring devices.
Basic math and computer skills required.
Ability to safely operate equipment
Must pass welding test on material in use.
Work requires high focus and concentration level to ensure quality work and to avoid safety hazards.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
